We are actively contributing to the continued success of the NCDOT UAS Program, Advance Mobility NC, and the Washington-Warren and Hyde County UAS efforts. As part of this mission, Xelevate is aiding in the development of an Eastern North Carolina multi-modal, multi-domain operational range, pioneering the future of flight and transportation. This range will enable the safe advancement and integration of Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), and unmanned systems (UxS) across key sectors including public safety, emergency management, environmental monitoring, state agency operations, freight logistics, national security, commercial industry, and multi-domain mobility.

Washington-Warren Airport is a regional facility located in Class E airspace, offering over 1,000 acres and two runways exceeding 5,000 feet in length; ideal for both crewed and uncrewed flight operations. The airport features secure hangar rentals, a dedicated lab maker space, and supports advanced operations through integrated risk-reduction technologies, including BVLOS infrastructure, micro-weather sensors, wind LIDAR, and drone detection systems for enhanced airspace awareness. Situated in close proximity to multiple DoD installations, Military Operating Areas (MOAs), and bombing ranges, Washington-Warren provides a strategic location for defense-focused testing, training, and operational deployment.
