Marcy Eisenberg

President & Co-Founder

Marcy is the President and Co-Founder of Xelevate. Previously serving as President and Co-Founder of a national security firm, Marcy and her husband successfully built and sold a National Security consulting firm specializing in developing value, increasing efficiency, optimizing mission, and ensuring relevancy for customers in the National Security and commercial sectors. This business won numerous national benchmarking awards, including being an INC500 and INC 5000 honoree, one of the 50 Fastest-Growing Women-Led Private Companies in America, an honoree of Washington Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, and Inc’s Top 50 Best Small to Mid-size Workplaces in the United States. Marcy is the author of The Relevance Path: 7 Steps to Give Your Organization a Decisive Edge, a framework to help any person, team, or organization reach impactful, relevant, personal and professional goals. It is this understanding, coupled with her knowledge and experience with successful requirements gathering for projects, that enables her passion for helping teams and organizations reach levels of success beyond what they thought possible. Marcy serves as AUVSI Washington D.C.'s chapter Treasurer and is also an FAA Part 107 Certified Commercial Drone Pilot. She enjoys aviation related activities, hiking, nutrition, fitness, writing, playing guitar and piano, dancing, gardening, and spending time with her husband Andy, beloved sons, and goofy German shepherd, Badger.

Andrew Biechlin

Vice-President & Co-Founder

Andrew is the Executive Vice President of Xelevate. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President and Co-Founder of a National Security consulting firm that is a two-time recipient honoree of the INC500 and INC 5000 list, a 2016 honoree of Washington Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, and Inc’s 2016 Top 50 Best Small to Mid-size Workplaces in the United States. Andrew has served nearly 20 years as a National Security analyst and software developer specializing in data collaboration, integration, and data mining. Andrew’s ability to fuse analytical needs with technical innovation have also yielded national security breakthroughs at the Director level of a premier national security agency. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Norwich University, and uses his marketing and visionary skills to generate ideas for new revenue streams and produce strategies for building out current lines of business. Andrew has a passion for aviation and unmanned systems, and has over 20 years’ experience with manned and unmanned systems. He is currently a part 107 FAA certified commercial drone pilot . In his spare time, Andrew enjoys fishing, hiking, and has served as an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) club flight instructor for over the last 20 years.

Alissa Biechlin

Vice President Of Operations

Alissa Biechlin is the Vice President of Operations at Xelevate. Alissa demonstrates a strong commitment to our mission of providing safe and secure drone/UAS engagement, innovation, cultural acceptance, and generational advancement. She plays a pivotal role in assisting industry, commercial entities, government agencies, local communities, public safety, and academia in achieving these goals. Her role extends beyond day-to-day operations, as she is actively involved in business development and contributes to shaping our company's strategic processes. Her FAA Part 107 certification as a Commercial Drone Pilot adds a unique dimension to our operations, further strengthening our capabilities in the drone industry.

In her previous role as the Vice President of Mission Operations Division at Bogart Associates and Pathoras Corporation, she demonstrated exceptional leadership by overseeing revenue, team managers, assistant contract managers, and various facets of human resources, including Benefits, Payroll, Compliance, Recruitment, Risk Management, and Safety. She was actively engaged in the annual review and renewal of benefits and compensation, ensuring that the workforce was well taken care of.

After work she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 daughters and her chihuahua. She is a volunteer at her church and oversees fellowship events and hospitality. She also loves to travel to Italy to see her family and likes to cook, eat, play bingo and go to the beach.

Collin Hively

Mini Air boss & Ground Support Specialist

Collin Hively is Xelevate’s Mini-Air Boss, an Xelevate Flight Instructor, and the Ground Support Specialist. He ensures that the Facility is safe and secure, assisting in implementing Xelevate safety procedures and risk mitigation processes both before and during flight operations. Understanding the critical role safety plays in meeting successful flight operations as unmanned systems move into the next horizon, Collin proactively builds new policy and procedures to ensure safe flight operations scale as the industry scales forward (including new checklists and the like). When Collin is not overseeing safe flight operations for Xelevate clients, he can be found instructing others on building their flight skills. Before joining the Xelevate team, he served as a stone mason implementing unique designs primarily outdoor in nature. Collin also previously served as an Internet Marketing Manager, where he wore many hats as a web designer, graphic designer, and social media/content marketer. Collin also utilizes these skills to build compelling capability videos that help clients convert sales, leveraging footage clients gain after using Xelevate’s Facility to demonstrate, train, and/or hold events. Collin is a certified FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot and flies both fixed wing and quadcopters both on site at Xelevate and for off-site flight operations for clients. When he’s not flying the skies, Collin can be seen partaking in his other passions, the outdoors and Mountain Dew.

Michael Malarkey

Air Boss

Michael is an Air Boss, coming to Xelevate in 2023 after 40 years of service across a wide range of National Defense initiatives.  Michael served with US Army Special Operations in the mid 80s, conducted Spacecraft Operations in the 90’s for TRW, and most recently served as a US Air Force Civilian supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community globally.  Originally from Philadelphia, PA, he has lived around the world and is currently raising a family with his wife Amy in the Leesburg area. Michael, Call Sign “Tigger”, has been a Part 103 Pilot since 2021 training with Aviator PPG, a Part 107 pilot since 2019, and an Australia CASA Commercial Drone Pilot since 2018.  His experience in communications electronics, systems integration and isotropic navigation blend well with his love of aviation. Michael’s extensive experience with Federal Government and industry acquisition processes aide in assuring customer success is achievable within the context of customer safety. Michael enjoys the challenges of aviation alongside the thrill of raising two teenagers, amateur radio (Ka3AOK), 3D printing, SCUBA diving and hiking along the Appalachian Trail.
